A Strategy to Guess Less

The order of thinking to solve by logic all the way.

This game's Beginner and Intermediate boards are verified to be solvable by logic alone with no guessing. Even when you feel stuck, there's usually a confirmed cell you missed somewhere.

First apply the basic rules (all mines / all safe) to every border number, then move on to the 1-1 and 1-2 patterns and subset comparison. If you're still stuck, cross-check with the total remaining mine count.

When a guess is truly needed on Advanced or Expert, cells toward the wide clearing, where less information is open, are generally safer. Always keep guessing as a last resort.
